Monday, December 13, 2010: Genesis 3:15 (NKJV)

And I will put enmity

Between you and the woman,

And between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head,

And you shall bruise His heel.”

What is the unusual prophecy? Seed of a woman. (Not a man!)

Tuesday, December 14, 2010: Genesis 21:12 (NKJV)

But God said to Abraham, “Do not let it be displeasing in your sight because of the lad or because of your bondwoman. Whatever Sarah has said to you, listen to her voice; for in Isaac your seed shall be called.

What is the implication of this verse? Christian & Jew vs. Muslim contention.

Wednesday, December 15, 2010: Genesis 49:10 (NKJV)

The scepter shall not depart from Judah,

Nor a lawgiver from between his feet,

Until Shiloh comes;

And to Him shall be the obedience of the people.

Who is to be the ancestor of Christ? Judah.

Thursday, December 16, 2010: Daniel 9:25 (NKJV)

“Know therefore and understand,

That from the going forth of the command

To restore and build Jerusalem

Until Messiah the Prince,

There shall be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks;

The street shall be built again, and the wall,

Even in troublesome times.

When was Christ to be born? Cyrus the Mede’s decree started the countdown.

Friday, December 17, 2010: Malachi 3:1 (NKJV)

“Behold, I send My messenger,

And he will prepare the way before Me.

And the Lord, whom you seek,

Will suddenly come to His temple,

Even the Messenger of the covenant,

In whom you delight.

Behold, He is coming,”

Says the Lord of hosts.

Who is this messenger of prophecy? John the Baptist.
